ORGANIZERS
Over the last three decades, the Asia-Pacific Conference of German
Business (APK) has evolved into Germany’s signature business event
in Asia. At the APK, top business and government leaders from
Germany and Asia-Pacific gather every two years to discuss and
promote economic relations between Europe’s largest economy and
the fastest growing region in the world. At APK 2018, up to 1,000
participants will join the debate on the most pressing topics of our
time, e.g. Industry 4.0, Artificial Intelligence, and Smart & Sustainable
Urbanization.
The APK is jointly organized by the Asia-Pacific Committee of German
Business (APA), the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs
and Energy (BMWi), and the German Chambers of Commerce (AHK)
in Asia-Pacific. It is co-chaired by the APA-Chairman and the German
Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy.
