A large factor that influenced EKONID’s financial situation during the course of 2018 was the Asia-Pacific Conference
of German Business (APK) which EKONID organized and financed. The surplus created by this one-time event will be
utilized and re-invested in the renovation of the EKONID office.
At the end of 2018, EKONID was in a financially sound condition as was able to fulfill its obligations to both its
suppliers and its employees, including pension payments and provisions. Moreover, EKONID was able to meet its tax
obligations to the Indonesian government.
