theme by the EU was ‘Circular Economy: Maximizing
Business through Sustainable Practices’. This year’s event
included the presence of the Chairman of Eurocham,
Mr. Wichard von Harrach, H.E. the Ambassador of the
European Union to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam,
Mr. Vincent GUÉREND, the Minister of Environment and
Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia, Mrs. Siti Nurbaya
Bakar, and Mr. Karmenu Vella, European commissioner of
Environment, Maritime Affiars and Fisheries.

Since the start of the EIBN in 2013, the Project
has implemented outreach activities across 28 EU MS
including 94 information events and more than 50 trade
fair visits, and has been able to assist over 1.700 European
companies with business enquiries, while individually
supporting over 280 companies and organisations
with concrete market access business services, and
contributing to several missions from different EU
member states.
