Offering market intelligence and business consultancy to German
and Indonesian companies
The Indonesian market has become increasingly attractive for German companies to
do business in. The number of inquiries received in 2013 for business partner search has
increased more than 50 percent compared to the previous year. More than 85 German
companies who were looking for a suitable business partner sought consultation with
EKONID. Through our comprehensive Business Partner Search service, EKONID provided
support to German companies with the aim of initiating successful business partnerships
in the country.
Within the framework of the Business Partner Search service, a number of

between German companies and several prospective Indonesian
companies were organized and conducted through EKONID in order to provide the
representatives with market information and the opportunity to gain a/form their first
impression of Indonesia. To mention only one success story: one of the companies was
present at the Oil & Gas Exhibition in Jakarta this year through a representation by their
new local business partner (matched through EKONID Business Partner Search service) in
Indonesia. This was only a few months after their business trip and the meeting in Jakarta.
Market Studies
is a further support service EKONID provides to assist German companies
in accessing the Indonesian market. In 2013 EKONID has accomplished four comprehensive
