Providing daily up-to-date information and special reports on
German – Indonesian bilateral relationship
EKONID’s
Communication Department
is responsible for providing daily updated
information for our members and partners on our homepage. In addition, the
Communication Department distributes a monthly Member’s Newsletter in English
language to all of our members as well as the Nachrichtenblitz in German language,
which is addressed not only to members of EKONID, but also to our partners in Germany.
While we update our 529 subscribers of the Newesletter here in Indonesia especially
about new members, upcoming events and member news, the 2.258 recipients of the
Nachrichtenblitz receive information about the economic and business development as
well as the legal framework in Indonesia. Furthermore, the Communication Department
is also handling EKONID’s Premium Partners, ensuring exclusive placements at EKONID
events and outgoing communication.
The
Publication Department
is mostly responsible for EKONID’s quarterly published
magazine SOROTAN as well as EKONID’s media relations and partnerships. To support
internal clients, the Publication Department offers editorial advice, article writing, proof
reading & editing, translation (English, Indonesian & German) and photography to other
EKONID departments. In 2013, the department functioned additionally as Media Relation
Officer for specific projects, such as the JERIN Festival and the Launching of the EU –
Indonesia Business Netwok (EIBN).
SOROTAN Achievements in 2013
Circulation of 2.500 copies per edition.
New columns platform:
• Headline Story with economy focus.
• Focus Report on German – Indonesian bilateral relationship.
• Signature as new platform for art, culture, travel destination coverage.
• Expanding coverage to East Java, with economy and business reports from Wisma
Jerman Surabaya.
Interviews:
• H.E. Dr. Guido Westerwelle, Minister of Foreign Affairs – Federal Republic of Germany.
• H.E. Linda Amalia Sari Gumelar, Minister of Women Empowerment and Child
Protection – The Republic of Indonesia.
