A
t the end of 2016, EKONID had a total membership
of 430; corporate members represent the major
share of members (84%) followed by institutional
(10%) and personal members (6%).
The membership includes well-established German and
Indonesian companies in various sectors, like automotive,
banking, chemical, construction, electronic, engineering,
logistic, pharmaceutical and trading.

2016 and is available as hard-copy or online via the EKONID
website.
Events 2016
EKONID’s events are the perfect platformto gain information
or to build your social and business network by meeting
government representatives and fellow business colleagues
at formal or informal, but always neutral occasions.
Membership
Report
In 2016 EKONID conducted, or was actively involved
in the organization of 140 events; 83 of them in Indonesia,
57 outside the country, of which 33 were in Germany, 16
in other European and 8 in other, mostly ASEAN countries.
From the 83 events in Indonesia, 64 took place in Jakarta, 13
in Surabaya and the others in Bandung, Probolinggo, Bandar
Lampung, Banjarmasin, Manado, Samarinda, Surakarta,
Sukabumi and Tasikmalaya. Please see the Events Calendar
section for more details.
Highlighted events are President Joko Widodo’s visit
to Germany in April, the European – Indonesian Business
Dialog (EIBD) and the Asia-Pacific Conference of German
Business (APK), both in November.
