THROUGHOUT 2015, HUMAN RESOURCES DIVISION HAS HELD SIX HUMAN CAPITAL CLUB
SEMINARS ATTENDED BY AN AVERAGE OF 40 PARTICIPANTS.
Out of these six Human Capital Club seminars, two
topics drew in the largest level of interests. The first
is the seminar ‘New Program BPJS Ketenagakerjaan
(or Workers Social Security)’, which was led by Mrs.
Puspitaningsih and Irma Rismiyati from the Workers
Social Security Management Agency. The second is
the implementation of ‘New Regulations on Foreign
Employment’ led by Mr. Ruwiyono Septy Priharso
from the Ministry of Labor and Mr Sutrisno from the
Directorate General of Immigrations.
The seminar ‘New Program Workers Social Security’
was held on September 3, 2015. It introduced the
government’s latest pension fund program, whereby
companies are obliged to follow a new pension fund
on top of the existing programs of JKK (Jaminan
Kecelakaan Kerja or Occupational Accident Benefit),
JHT (Jaminan Hari Tua or Old-Age Risk Benefit)
and JKM (Jaminan Kematian or Death Benefit). The
guest speakers outlined the reasoning behind the
new program and how companies can adjust.
The second topic is the Implementation of New
Regulations on Foreign Employment. The discussion
revolved around the revision of Ministry of Labor
Decree No. 12/2013 to Ministry of Labor Decree No.
16/2015, which was then revised again to Ministry of
Labor Decree No. 35/2015.
Other topics brought forward by the Human
Capital Club were ‘Maximizing Human Capital
Productivity to support Profitability and Business
Growth’, which was led by Mr. Billy Raymond
Assa from JAC Recruitment, on February 2015;
‘Sustainable HR Management’, led by Mr. Awaldi of
Towers Watson Indonesia, on April 23, 2015; “AEC
Preparation: Examining Your Company Organization
Effectiveness’, which was led by Mrs. Marina
Hutagalung of Saskara Counsellors, on August 13;
and ‘How to deal with Generation Y’ by Mr Rainer
Heufner on October 6. On average, between 20 and
60 participants attended each Human Capital Club
events in 2015.
